Exciting new label Coola Road showcases the exceptional wine coming from the Mount Gambier region, and the 2013 vintage is no exception. Coola Road is wholly owned and run by our family, and we can proudly attest that our wines come from grapes sourced entirely from our own vineyards located 25kms west of Mount Gambier, South Australia. Mount Gambier is quickly becoming recognised as one of Australia’s prime locations for the production of cool climate grapes, with an ever increasing number of growers producing world class wines. Despite growing grapes for numerous years, the 2013 vintage is Coola Road’s debut release, and the end product adheres to the notion that great wines can only come from superior grapes.

Mount Gambier is Australia’s newest official wine appellation, and is one of mainland Australia’s coolest climates. The climate, soil type and low yielding production enables outstanding quality and unique flavours. The goal with our Coola Road label is to promote our region amongst everyday wine drinkers whilst challenging people to try something new. We hope you enjoy our wines as much as we have making them.
